Although this truth might sound petty, whenever it’s midterm or finals week at school and I notice someone has put an inspirational sticky note in a bathroom stall at the library, the note always brightens my day, even if just a little bit. The messages may be corny, but being forced to stare at a “Keep smiling” note or reading one that says, “You are beautiful,” while washing my hands always brings a smile to my face.

With that in mind, and after reading a “kind acts” suggestion page I found through Google, I figured this one would be good to add to my “kind acts and volunteering” bucket list. I bought flowered sticky notes a few weeks ago, but finally set out to start writing and posting inspirational messages a couple days ago.

The lucky (or maybe unlucky, depending if they like random notes in their public bathrooms)…

Just a quick apology to my followers,  Ive had to slow up on my blogging, due to recent events, am temping at the live in care work for a few weeks, so only have a 2 hour break per day, (work the other 22)  which means I dont have a chance to comment on my friends blogs, but I am trying to read them.  I need the time to contemplate to add a constructive comment sometimes without sounding like im an idiot!  Hopefully when I get my self a decent new laptop (a cup of coffee made its home within the workings of my last one!)   then I can sit and read, but for now, we have a communal laptop/computer  which time is limited on.

I will return to full form hopefully soon.  thanks for your patience and all your lovely comments and emails of support to me,  they are appreciated,  it has been an emotional rollercoaster and I have been guilty of immersing myself into work  to get through the day without thinking and so that when the night comes I am completley ready for sleep without ear worms reminding me of my failures.

Thankyou once again for helping me so much

Well, .. I’ve been back in the UK for a bit,  luckily visited a couple of my friends and hijacked their WIFI to trawl my 2367 emails!   I spent a wonderful re-couperation in Naples,  bit nervy being alone, but soon blended into life with the help of some fine wine and pizzas!

Im also back temp at the care job, have worked in Hereford, Cornwall, the Wirral and now in North Wales for 2 weeks.  Although its live in 22 hours a day of care, we do get a lot of free time, so it helps me to carry on working on my Foodie Writing and researching.  Plus they let you use a communal laptop in most places – which helps a great deal. (So long as your remember which version of Windows your on!!!!)

One of the ladies I have worked for in the past has heard about my predicament, through the grapevine, and is going abroad for a few months  She has asked me to join her as a companion and carer. We will be starting off with a River Cruise, then moving on to visit her family in Italy and then up to others in France and Spain.  So Ive accepted that,  shes a fascinating lady of 79,  so will also be helping her to type up her journals, which she is hoping to pass on to grand daughters and family.  I feel honoured.

Family life for me didnt improve.  Which is why I suppose Ive signed up for many work-away jobs, moving around the country for a week at a time, takes your mind off things.

Thankfully I have  some great friends to help me.  One friend has been great She has allowed me to steal her WIFI and use her Computer when I was stuck!.

I am also thankful to her for introducing me to WordPress, as she had friends who ‘BLOG’, and Ive followed theres, and have been inspired by other people who have overcome similar issues to me.  This in turn has helped me to find ‘virtual’ friends who have also been supportive, and although they are scattered across the world, they know who they are, and I thank them for their continued texts and emails of simple “how are you?” ‘s.

Well this is all I can write for now,  its suprising how quick a 2 hour break can go when your baring your soul.  Im around for a bit more time,  would love some help and advice.  When I get chance and my head and heart are stronger I will explain more about my news that caused me to Flee.

Many thanks to those who have sent kind messages and have kept ‘liking’ me
